Student Extraneous Load Analysis in Online-Based Plant Tissue Structure Learning

This study aims to determine the cognitive load of students in online-based plant anatomy learning. The research was conducted at Biology Education Study Program a State University Palembang, Indonesia. subjects were (n=73) who contracted course. instrument used students' mental effort understanding material is questionnaire with Likert scale five answer choices: very easy (VE), (E), moderate (Md), difficult (D), and (VD). aspects measured are (i) identifying type tissues its characteristics by observing 2D 3D images; (ii) analyzing interrelationship structure it function; (iii) constituent several organs, (iv) spatial thinking related tissues. data shows that highest percentage all medium category (MD), which ranges between (31.14% - 47.69%), means learning carried out not too burdensome for these four aspects.
